Brewpub · Ted Stevens Airport · Anchorage

Copper tanks. Alaska cold.

Small-batch brews poured two floors above the tarmac. Wood-fired pizza, honest cod & chips, and a room built for long layovers and longer talks. Open till midnight.

The story

A warm room in the cold front

Silver Gulch started as a handful of barrels behind an Anchorage garage. Today we brew and bottle on floor two of Ted Stevens — copper tanks catching the glow of a room that feels less like an airport and more like a cabin you'd stay in.

Travelers land, locals stop by, and the taps run until midnight. Same beer, same wood-fired ovens, same story.

"Generous portions of very fresh fish, light crispy batter, yummy bun. The cod & chips are worth the trip to the airport."

"The Santa pizza was one of the better pizzas we had in a long time — wood-fired crust, sauce just a tad spicy."
